I’m happy to see my improvement, because I want to live from my art someday…

It’s awesome to see my work all over the years… and I would like to say something I learned from it: If you want to live from your art and you think you’re not good enough, never give up. I may still not love my art now, I still see many many problems with it, but when I put them together and I face my own improvement, I’m happy I never gave up… I thought of quit drawing many times, but I didn’t and that’s why I look at my own work and have this good feeling about myself… It’s rare from me to love something I did, but I guess I’m kinda loving it, this time… I always knew people that could do it better than me, and I still do, but I try to learn from them…. With practice and some will power, anyone can do it.

I’m not a famous artist and I don’t have any big work, but I hope I’ll be there someday.

I would like to thank all my friends that always told me to insist and always contributed with good critique and moral support xD… I wouldn’t keep going without you.

Hi there ^^

So, this is Kazimir, one of my oldest OCs… And well, I’ve finaly done a drawing of him… It’s sad that I rarely draw him…

I’m having a bad time with my art because I always think people doesn’t like what I do… The thing is that I’m used to draw mostly Role Play that always related to other people’s characters and that causes some interests in them… But when it comes to be my own characters (not related), people don’t always show the same interests…. And that’s why I’m always doing drawings of other people’s charas and related to Role plays… I’m kinda insecure with my artwork and I need constant approval… i_i That’s wrong, I know, I should be drawing them for myself…. But nah ya, I don’t know… I just always felt that I couldn’t draw and even with the development I’m having and with the hard practing, I’m always willing to look at my own work and subjudge it.

By this post, I’m not wishing any kind of pitty or opinion, that’s just me getting something off my chest… I always thought with myself, why do the artists always need to be so dramatic? But I’m the dramitc kind ^^ ehehe…

Well, about the drawing… Kazimir is the main character of the book I’m writing for a loooong time… He’s a poor human followed by death since the day he was born… His name already changed a lot of times because the story had an anime touch when I was younger and now I want it to be more realistic. So, his name went from the Japanese Katsu Tsukaza, to the adaptation for European Katzu Rhuffer (this name doesn’t exist), and then I found out that the name Kazimir could have the nickname Katz in Belgium… Now his name is Kazimir Van Den Berg ^^… And I always make him suffer a lot ò_ó… He’s maybe by the window inside his room at Magnus’ castle and he’s waiting for his Evil Master to return from the shadows… OH THIS IS SO CLICHE AND I SO LOVE IT!

Kazimir Van Den Berg is an Immortality of Soul Maru and he belongs to me.
